Well, I finally got it last week and read it. See previous post for the cute cover.

That's the thing. It's adorable. But it's a very short one shot.

Would have enjoyed more, but it was well done and to the point.

Basically, a non-verbal anthropomorphic pig befriends a robot vacuum that doesn't understand feelings. Or why the pig cares so much about it.

It's a sweet, little story. Worth reading...but maybe pick it up digitally from Starfruit instead of waiting like me for the physical release.

New Read - Doomsday Cleaning

So, this manga has a story.

About 3 years ago, Starfruit Books, a small indie manga publisher, opened pre-orders for physical release of a cute looking, one-shot entitled "Doomsday Cleaning." The text about it alone sounded cute and for $8 I would help an indie publisher and get a cute book to share with my kids.

Then nothing. Starfruit published a lot of physical releases, but this one kept getting delayed. I'd check in every 6 months or so to see the status, often no response.

Then I saw an update on their Instagram. They were sending out copies in late May!
