#distrans will be changing its name to #stigmerge. This pull request explains more about why.

You'll already see this change in latest main. Crates have been published but it's the same latest v0.3.19 otherwise.

0.4.0 is in development and will support trackers and simultaneous upload/download.

Exciting times for #veilid and #distrans... veilid-core 0.4.3 just dropped with stable DHT support, which I'm researching as a possible primitive for content-addressable magnet links.

#distrans 0.2.0 is a significant remodel of the file-sharing peer internals for resilience & reliability. Feels like I'm starting to find a groove with designing the right abstractions in Rust.

Much thanks to @Skivling for some great initial feedback!

There are still rough edges. Not ready for general use yet but getting a clearer idea of what it's gonna take to get there, I can see it coming together...
