Taking another stab at painting this girl. Decided to start with an acrylic underpainting, so this is very early/work in progress, but I love this block in stage when everything looks so graphic.
Finally got a chance to come back and finish this painting - master study/my take on Kay Nielsen's 1912 Illustration from the fairy tale, In Powder and Crinoline. Love his long flowy, tragically beautiful characters.
