Mike [SEC=OFFICIAL]Hey remember the #DeathBloom? It didn't get much taller than the last time I posted, but now the flower buds are starting to open!
Hey it's been a while since I did an update on the Death Bloom out front! That's mainly down to the fact that during the week it's dark when I leave home, and dark when I come home. On the weekends I fall down.
Anyway - not a spectacular amount of action, but it's really tall and well into branching out for the eventual flowering!
So I guess I haven't done a #DeathBloom update for a bit, have I? Well this here isn't the most recent picture, it's about a week old now. Still, here's where the stem is at, with a picture from just *three weeks* before it, for contrast. It's still going up, no sign of any flowering yet.
Hey, time for a quick #DeathBloom update! The two photos here are one week apart and you can see the top is now well past the white metal thing on the wall. No bloom yet, but it's growing quickly.
I have placed this plant out the front now, near to some handy visual references.
The top of that white ... thingy ... is about 2.4m from ground level. The base of the plant is obviously above that, but a brick is about 7-8cm high so you can probably do some things with numbers if you're really curious.
