I just got through watching #DearDoctor in #StarTrekEnterprise where #Phlox REALLY did not want to give Valakian's a cure for their epidemic caused by an evolutionary genetic disease (a genetic dead end), because it might hinder the development of another sentient species, the Menk, on the planet.

I found their rationale dubious.

MAYBE IF A LITTLE GIRL HAD ASKED ARCHER AND PHLOX FOR HELP???🙄
