Sat at the café, heart racing quick,
Wondering if they’re tall, or short, or slick.
Will they look like the pics, or like someone’s uncle?
I’m praying it’s them… and not a catfish jungle.

Sip my latte, try to stay cool,
But blind date nerves make me look like a fool.
If it goes south, I’ll just fake a call—
“Oops, grandma’s stuck in a shopping mall!” 😅
