Last Saturday was #DSADay! 📅 This means the Digital Services Act – the EU’s new regulation against risks from online platforms – is officially in place! In a year of major elections like the EU Parliament, we can finally send data access request to major platforms for research & monitor purposes. That is exactly what we have done: On Feb 17 we sent a data access request to #Microsoft to expand our research into our #Bing-generated election misinformation. Find out more! ⤵️

The Digital Services Act (DSA) is the EU’s new regulation against risks from online platforms and search engines. It has been in effect since 2023, but 17 February 2024 marks “DSA Day,” on which many of the regulation’s most impactful provisions come into force.
