Big congrats to Hilda and Ino, high school students in #Potsdam, for winning a special prize at #Germany's national youth #science and technology contest #JugendForscht! 🎉

With a project on reconstructing long-term #wildfire activity in Brandenburg they already won the regional and state-level competitions and made it to the prestigious national finals. I was impressed by their initiative and dedication, spending long hours in the lab! The special prize by the German Geological Society (#DGGV) is really well earned! 👍🥳
