My new ride arrived just in time for this #CymbalSaturday . This Meinl Byzance Traditional Medium Ride 20" is awesome. I don't understand, why I played all those dull entry level rides for so long. It gives totally different feel to the whole kit. I love the tone, there is no thundering and annoying wash build up like it was with the MCS which I've had before and the ping is just beautiful. And it is sooo crashable! It just wants you to hit it from all angles!

@utkanos 🤩 niiice!  my new ride did unfortunately make it over to the country yet. I expect it to arrive in the middle of next week. Hopefully for the next #CymbalSaturday it will already be here.

Technical specs: this is a 17 inch Bosphorus Traditional Thin crash cymbal that clocks in at 1076 grams. Lovely wash and overtones when glanced softly, slicing cut and top end when opened up fully. It’s complex, but sits very well with other cymbals, perfect to blend with a darker cymbal for a wide spectrum crash sound.
