@ada ah now look, this is exciting news for me, coz now i see a #CunningPlan for a good solution. if you could pls toot me on the hour each hour, telling me it ain't saturday you dopey dropbear, each day that in fact ain't saturday, i feel quite confident i can prevail over this confusion . to sweeten the deal, if you call before midnight, there's a free set of tofu-knives with your name on them!

The #AlbaParty's death story has an extra layer of comedy: a #CunningPlan to resurrect the party's corpse.

Somehow, its all going to be sorted by a team of swinger #TommySheridan, teenage-duo-snoģger #AngusMacNeil, and #ChristinaHendry, niece of the late Mr #SleepyCuddles. 🙄

After an alleged misuse of funds, the party is £300,000 short of being able to field candidates in May. But this trio are going to make it all OK. #Magic! 😂🤣

@MsDropbear42 yesterday a bit of a disaster happened, alas.

dad rang, having printing hassles, from his win10 Host, not his #LinuxMint #VirtualBox VM Guest in which he'd correctly checked to make sure the VM was not still "owning" the printer.

i remoted-in, confirmed his story, discovered that VB was mucking up; in fact it did still own the printer despite visually pretending [in the Devices - USB listing] it didn't ... only discovered this once i'd shutdown the VM, at which point dad's docs queued in the win10 print-queue began printing.

fiddled about, realised his VB version is now quite old, so updated it... oh fucking hell, now none of the VMs will launch! each crashes out whilst trying to boot, with usual VB incomprehensible error msg.

that was yesterday, now for this morn... knowing that i'd only updated his core VB pgm but not also the accompanying so-called Extension Pack, now i did that. still NFG... damnit.

til i can fathom wtf has gone wrong with VB, & fix it, my #CunningPlan is a smoking ruin... w/o the VM, he has no internet access, ie, cannot browse, cannot email [that was the entire point of The Plan, given #endof10]. bugger it.

Dunno why, but every now & then [interval typically years] i flash back to a childhood accident when i deployed my #CunningPlan by walking onto a plank with a pointing-up rusty nail, hungry for a succulent heel into which to plunge. Ah yes, good times. 😳

Given my sleep was as usual interrupted by unwanted trips to the littlest room, then eventually i awoke for the final time totes undesirably early & so gave up, got up, i have hatched a #CunningPlan for diabolical revenge on the ooniverse!

- gown over nightie, no shower, no dressing
- coffee every 42'

Muhahahaha, take that, ooniverse; i'll teach yous to mess around with this little dropbear! 🤬🤪
