It was dark and flash is not allowed. Just a few pictures with acceptably stable hand. :-)
We couldn't see any of the cave paintings because they get destroyed by light. But the scenery is magnificent!
The paintings are between 15 thousand and 40 thousand years old! We could see some on a film afterwards.
All pics are without any retouch.

One of the most beautiful #cave systems I have seen is on the south coast of Spain: The Cueva de Nerja are a series of large caverns which now serve as auditoriums for music concerts.

Neanderthal cave paintings (40,00 years old) were discovered but the cave system itself wasn't found until as recent as 1960.

Felt privileged to hear some experimental music and chanting. The acoustics were incredible and I was in awe throughout the entire experience.
