Crystal Project: la prova che un game design nudo e crudo può superare il mainstream, zavorrato da budget eccessivi e tutorial tediosi. Un gioiello indie che, puntando alla sostanza, offre un'esperienza profonda. #GiochiIndie #Notizievideogiochi #Videogiochi #crystalproject #JRPG
While I wholly recommend #CrystalProject to anyone that likes turn-based RPGs, I have to believe that quintar breeding was the dev trolling. There is no other explanation.

For #vgmwednesday we have "Heated Battle" by Aaron Lucas from #CrystalProject The track was actually not written for the game but created royalty free. There is a huge amount of talented people out there creating royalty free art and music for shear love of the medium. Not every artist will have their work featured in something big, despite their talent and creativity. Leave a positive comment when you happen upon these people in your Internet travels.

Over the weekend, I was using the rental salmon in #CrystalProject to completely ignore what the game told me to do and instead went out in the ocean. Found yet another thing I'm pretty sure I wasn't intended to have yet.

This is shaping up to be one of the best RPGs I've ever played. It has some flaws, but makes up for them exponentially with its "sure, go ahead" attitude.

Encounter a boss in #CrystalProject that was too murdery. I lured it into a spike pit and lo and behold the game was like "fine, go ahead and do that." This game basically invites you to break it over its knee. It's great.

Finally beat the stupid lizards in the volcano in #CrystalProject party was warrior/aegis, ninja/thief, scholar/cleric, and dervish/wizard. This fight was a puzzle for agro, debugging, and disabling. Ended up avoiding blackout so I could still use flare.

This game is really good!

The surprising MVP of my #CrystalProject team has been a ninja/rogue. Dual wielding status-effect daggers with back stabbing is fun anD consistent. Wizard has also been really great. For the last few bosses, I used spotlight and fire scroll to amp fire damage, plus some magic buffs/debuffs, then drop a flare.

Such a fun game!

I went back to #CrystalProject after stepping away from it for a bit (after TotK sucked up like 6 months of my life) and back to addicted to this gem. The character building rivals #FF5 and #BravelyDefault but the exploration is a lot of fun. There's a constant feeling like you're breaking the game and you are finding stuff you're not supposed to. It's great!

Oh, that's an excellent idea -- a store where you can buy items you may have missed. #CrystalProject
