Jesus died so all would die in Him to live in His ways. God displayed His love for us through Jesus' suffering and death, and so we should understand ourselves as held and constrained by the #love of Christ to live for Him.

Jesus was #crucified between two criminals, ostensibly Barabbas' accomplices.

Jesus asked the Father to forgive them, for they did not know what they were doing.

The people watched while the leaders, the soldiers, and one of the criminals mocked Jesus. The other criminal rebuked his companion, perceiving the injustice of Jesus' death, and asked for Jesus to remember him when He entered His Kingdom.

Jesus promised him he would be with Him in Paradise that day.
