One of the former Leverndale Hospital buildings just off Crookston Road in Glasgow. Designed by Malcolm Stark and Rowntree in a Renaissance Revival style, it was opened in 1895 as the Govan District Asylum. It was converted into housing on the early 2000s.

This relief sculpture is on the late 19th Century Ross Hall in the Crookston area of Glasgow and it shows a heron eating an eel. I've got no idea why it's there, but it's a beautiful piece of craftsmenship none-the-less.
