Certain crashes are caused by bugs in old versions of Android and apps can do nothing about it. So please let me hide this...

Case in point: Wilst software can be designed to violate #GDPR, designing it otherwise doesn't make it comply per default - unless one would have like a single executeable that doesn't have any crash reporting or networking functionality.
And even by that one could argue it could be used and abused to violate it if one intents to do so.
The developers / vendors tho aren't at fault unless proven otherwise, just like i.e. Audi isn't at fault for gangsters using their cars to flee a crime scene.

Also is there a good service to send log messages to (I want to know when users run into errors, which are not crashes). @aral @LunaDragofelis @wakame That being said they should do #Crashlytics as opt-in for #CCSS (commercial closed-source software) to provide support.
But that's just my opinion.
I use #bash since I need to be able to run my stuff on every mainstream #Linux box and #fish whilst being theoretically better isn't an option since "install a second shell" is a no-no in between "install another interpreter" and "install a compiler" in production setups.
