Your encounter with your correspondent is far from unusual. I’ve recently been called for jury duty. I discovered today that not only that a link to the court’s covid policy no longer appears in the website’s faq, but the policy hasn’t been updated for more than a year.
Now that doesn’t mean their precautions are inadequate, but in light of the current surge in cases, I was surprised there no mention in the faq.
Yet another proof how insidious is complacency.

At 70, I was probably the youngest customer by quite a bit. I was also the sole masked person. There are multiple facility wide outbreaks in our city. No one was rude to me, but I got plenty of confused looks. If they had asked, I would have told them I am just trying to live a normal life while protecting my 92 year old Mom & husband with heart disease. #covidnotover
