Your encounter with your correspondent is far from unusual. I’ve recently been called for jury duty. I discovered today that not only that a link to the court’s covid policy no longer appears in the website’s faq, but the policy hasn’t been updated for more than a year.

Now that doesn’t mean their precautions are inadequate, but in light of the current surge in cases, I was surprised there no mention in the faq.

Yet another proof how insidious is complacency.
