Clearly I have a far lower opinion of the Roberts so-called Supreme Court than Marc Elias does. It would be great for everyone to see and hear his thoughts in this video - he is highly expert - but I am going to attach a few of my own thoughts anyway.

We just have to get out of logging

"Conservationists claim harvesting operations are mismanaged, logged too intensively and come at a cost to the taxpayer and the environment."

"Dailan Pugh from the North East Forest Alliance says the biggest problem is the loss of mature trees, which are the homes and future for wildlife...We need to give our wildlife a chance to recover, we need to value our forests for the water they yield and — most importantly — the carbon they take out of the atmosphere."

"The NSW government has committed to creating a Great Koala National Park, which will take in existing state forests that span from the Clarence Valley to south of Coffs Harbour. Concerns over dwindling koala numbers across NSW led the Natural Resources Commission to lead independent work on how koalas responded to harvesting in state forests".

"Victoria and WA will stop native timber logging in 2024"
