📝 Plot:
Set in a remote French colonial outpost in Africa, Coup de torchon follows a seemingly harmless police chief mocked by everyone around him. As humiliation and corruption pile up, his passive façade slowly cracks, giving way to ruthless actions. Blending crime, dark comedy and political satire, the film offers a biting critique of colonial hypocrisy, moral decay and the dangers of absolute power.
