Vorgestern von La Spezia mit dem Zug nach #Monterosso um alle Dörfer der Cinque Terre von Nord nach Süd abzulaufen. Nun, fast... Einer spontanen Eingebung folgend, wollten wir von #Corniglia nach #Manarola zur Abwechslung am Wasser entlang. Leider nicht gesehen, dass der Weg bei Komoot als gesperrt markiert und somit Sackgasse ist. Die Zeit reichte dann nicht mehr für "obenrum" und wir mussten diesen Abschnitt mit dem Zug zurücklegen.

Walking from #Corniglia train station to the village center includes these stairs with 382 steps 🫠! With an average temperature of 28-30°C when going back to the apartment after the beach, the kids almost always refused to take the bus and not only they did force us to go through these stairs, but they did them running 😱. It's so unfair to get old 😭!

Today we went hiking from #Corniglia to #Vernazza, then we spent some time at Vernazza's beach. After lunch we visited Rio Maggiore's rocky beach.

1️⃣ A view of Guvano from the hiking path
2️⃣ A view of Corniglia from the hiking path
3️⃣ Prevo, a couple of buildings with bars on the hiking path
4️⃣ The beginning and the easiest portion of the hiking path. After that it's all stairs. It's about 250m of altitude difference, 3,5km long and it takes 1h30m.
