Kalahari, The Poconos, And Here Comes Middle School
This weekend, Labor Day in the US, me and my wife and kiddo went to Kalahari Water Park in the Poconos for one last gasp of the summer.
The kid had a blast and did tons of water slides. Weโre all so very sore.
Come Tuesday, middle school!!!!!!! Eeeek! I canโt take it. Heโs growing up so fast!

We went with my partners parents to their little summer cabin, on a southern isle here in denmark, this weekend. It was amazing, five minute walk from the beach, deer and pheasant casually walking through the garden, *while we are there, talking loudly to each other*
I actually went swimming in the ocean, for the first time in over ten years! We all had a blast and my mood is very much improved, even today I feel so so good.
I did end up lobsterized, entirely self inflicted though as I decided against sun protection because I was sad I got NO color last time we were out, and you know, what happened was entirely predictable ๐ฆ
I only snapped a couple of pictures with my phone while i was away, none of them turned out
I think I was too busy just enjoying myself this time haha
