Once again, @mhd reminded me of an old RPG. If you take GURPs CONAN and you add science, you end up with Masters of the Universe RPG.

Which was already made in the 80s, by FASA, but it was a terrible game, sort of made for kids, sort of a RPG but crossed with a board game and without a referee.

I wonder if Conan has had the most variations of game systems made for the setting?

I dug into the old 80s TSR Conan box set. The rules for healing are, if you rest, you gain a bunch of points back tied to some ability score.

There is a medicine skill, if someone does a medicine check on you, you heal at double the usual rate.

So, knowing the people I play with, what this would result in, is the group will do one combat, get hurt, and then retreat back to town and heal up.

Akira Kurasaura once said "I cant keep doing Seven Samurai." Since that movie, he had done several similar movies, that were well liked. But just because an artist is well liked for/ specializes in a type of story, doesnt mean they can live there forever.

#Genndy is a great fit for #Conan. But Genndy cant do #SamuraiJack forever. His dream was to do Popeye. He did Fixed. And was hoping to do #HeistSafari.

If we are fans of his, are we there for him more than his Primal-ish work.
