Holy crap. It's called con crunch for a reason. An hour ago I was like, I am way too tired and frustrated for this, gotta be careful not to make a huge mistake like accidentally sewing the back of the coat to the front.
I did it. I sewed the back to the front.
Fortunately, just a couple cm, immediately opened it up again and for whatever reason it's barely visible (contrary to a couple other spots), but... fuck.
I'm doing this for Flame Con on Sunday. (I also decided this yesterday #ConCrunch 
).
(Flame Con does ban gun props in general, but I have an absolutely hilarious water gun to take pictures with at home.)
I am looking forward to checking out Flame Con, it sounds like a very comfy and inclusive place. 
One thing I like about cons in general is that they can often provide a safe space for people to comfortably be themselves. A con which puts that goal front and center seems like a great idea

I'll be performing in the Idol Showcase at Another Anime Con next week! First time doing a dance routine, which has been a tough learning curve. (Also, I think I've found the one thing that makes me as uncomfortable as listening to recordings of myself singing: Watching recordings of myself dancing. 
) But I think I've improved a lot, even if I'm by no means good at this yet. Not posting the song/cosplay online yet, making it a small surprise for next Saturday. 
Got a tentative cosplay lineup that I might change around. I should have the Casual (cool R card) outfit and the idol showcase outfit done by next weekend (#ConCrunch again... ) Of course, gonna be Yohane all weekend. I've got several other characters/outfits lined up, but they'll have to wait.

The second-half print finished as predicted, at 3:15 in the morning, about an hour before I went out the door. No time to finish the model before leaving, so I strapped the two halves to my backpack and walked through the airport looking Interesting. Not a single fuck was given.
Probably a good thing that there was no super glue at the druggist; I'm using Gorilla Glue instead which will take longer to cure but won't fumigate my hotel room. #ConCrunch #cosplay
I'll be travelling tomorrow for Connecticon! It's my first time going since 2017 I think. I'll be cosplaying Yohane on Saturday, and Van from Escaflowne on Sunday. (Volunteering for staff Friday afternoon, so probably no cosplay for the day.) As for today, I'll be detangling my wig. 
The second #3dprint miiiiiight be done by the time I leave the house. It just has to take less than 18 hours.
But I'm proceeding with the fallback plan now, which involves a lot more glue. I wonder where I put my fan. #ConCrunch #cosplay
