#CtCon2023 #Cosplay #GenjitsuNoYohane #LoveLive #LoveLiveSunshine
Now that I've had a day to unwind a bit, listen to some music (music hashtags are great, people post such good stuff!), and detangle my wig again, I'm gonna ramble about CtCon for a bit:
-Very fun time overall!
-The people who work cosplay repair are amazing; the pin for my Yohane brooch broke right before the Love Live photoshoot, and the person was able to figure out a safety pin fix almost effortlessly.
-I really love the idol cosplayer community in the Northeast. So many great costumes, everyone's so cute! And the dance groups are incredible!
-In general, it's fun to be able to just go somewhere and talk about Love Live for hours with cool people.
-CtCon feels like much more of a party than Anime Boston. Drunk room at Cosplay Deathmatch was hilarious. And outside the convention center each night was a big unofficial dance party. I was a bit of a mess by 3am lol.
Anywho, time to get some groceries and then watch Genjitsu no Yohane.
CtCon's cosplay death match has a cash bar, and I'm dressed as Yohane. Life's pretty fun rn.
Can't figure out her drink of choice though.
Currently drinking pinot noir, will have to see if I come up with anything better a few more drinks in.
I'll be travelling tomorrow for Connecticon!
It's my first time going since 2017 I think. I'll be cosplaying Yohane on Saturday, and Van from Escaflowne on Sunday. (Volunteering for staff Friday afternoon, so probably no cosplay for the day.) As for today, I'll be detangling my wig.
