I just post a comment with #AltText with the relevant details because it feels helpful without condescension.

The wonderful experience of people seeing my comment, loading it on the original post as an edit happens and private message me to let me know it was useful to them.

It would be amazing if the ActivityPub or #Mastodon layer would attach #AltText descriptions from comments to a primary post as #CommentAltText, only showing on the primary post when no #AltText is present.

@zim2918 Alt-text: Line drawing (unbroken?) of 2 horizontal faces in profile, bottom face has chin on the left, top face has chin on the right, both eyes are closed, shaded with ink smudged from the line before it dried. The top face has a lock of hair falling into the bottom one's neck. Their lips are close to touching.

@zim2918 Alt-text: Unbroken line drawing on off-white paper of 2 people in profile to the elbows, close but not quite kissing. Only the space between them is drawn. No shading.

@zim2918 Alt-text: Monochromatic line art with dilute grey shading on cream paper of a nude with breasts reclining on draped fabric, head left, feet right, propped up on one elbow, top leg bent at the knee over and slightly in front of the other leg. A headband-style bow holding back long hair, and a one-third-full wine glass resting on the hip. Top arm mostly behind the body, only visible at the shoulder and the tip of a hand steadying the wine glass.

@zim2918 Alt-text: Line drawing with very little shading on off-white paper of 2 nude people, one in front with breasts almost sitting on their feet, twisting from the waist with arms outstretched horizontally, in front of the other person without breasts, kneeling, head inclining downwards towards the person in front, whose head is craning upwards not yet meeting each other's lips.
