I don’t think I’m going to entirely delete my #github*, but I am in the process of switching to a #selfhosted #gitea instance, and I’m so pumped!
I’ll probably start mirroring some stuff on #codeburg as a safety-net as well.

for letting people change their name and username!!
I know people have differing feelings on keeping connections to old names etc, and for anyone who needs or wants a completely clean break from their existing work, this is not a solution, but for people who don't mind if there's a trail connecting to old names, just so long as anything moving forward is correctly labeled, this is totally awesome!
The git histories on my files there definitely have my old email and name attached, but for me, that's fine. Definitely happy with how simple this is for me. Changed my username, email, and stated name on codeburg, changed my gitconfig to use my new email and name, and I'm good to go!
