Wanna start a thing called #TechTuesday where I talk about cool #tech shit in my life. My first #toot on the subject is the awesome #BMW Connected #HomeAssistant integration.
I've added my #Clubman to one of my HA dashboards to state its remaining fuel, range, state of car (locked/unlocked, open/closed doors & windows) overlayed on an image of my car pulled from BMW's servers. I've also got where the car is (Home/Away) and the odometer reading. All helpful at-a-glance information!
As a #Mini Hatch (F56) and #Clubman (F54) owner, I really don't like the new design language the brand is going for. It's far too "BMW."
Don't get me wrong, I'm a #BMW fan (had an #E60 before I got my Clubman) but Mini is sliding to the wrong end of the spectrum.
