Mr. GMIt's almost done!!
The battery on my dremel-like tool died so I can't finish smoothing out the edges, but I did a test fit on the broken controller I bought to use for parts and I love it! It's such a small thing, but when I put this on my main controller and replace the neck, the main controller is going to look like a plastic replica of my main guitar. Even seeing this parts-controller has me grinning ear to ear!

Life took some turns so progress has been slow while life events took priority, but I'm finally back at this project! So far I've verified my dremel-like tool can cut through the pickguard material, but it's kind of slow. To make things easier on myself, I got out my cordless drill and used its largest bit to drill a bunch of holes along the pickguard's outline. This is going to be so cool when it's done!

ohanditdidntgoWell, I've been humbled boys and girls.
My partner, who grew up playing #RockBand and #GuitarHero just loaded up #CloneHero for the first time and absolutely knocked it out of the park.
I've been playing this game for a few hours every week and she's just rubbished me in a matter of seconds.
I've been really struggling to get into any new games the last month or so. #CloneHero and #RocketLeague aside, the only thing grabbing me is the wonderful #Sektori.
I've now put almost ten hours into this game. And I'm *finally* starting to get a feel for what the games wants. It's hard as nails but I can see that first 'clear' on the horizon.
I should note, I'm not really a schmup sort of game, but this thing..this thing is something else entirely.
