Under Lee Zeldin, the EPA has been working as an agency that protects polluters rather than the people it was created to serve. Instead of safeguarding our health, air, and climate, he’s pushing a polluters-first agenda that puts communities at risk. We’re heading to the EPA to project a strong message onto the EPA building itself that we will not stand by while the Endangerment Finding is undermined. What’s the Endangerment Finding? The Endangerment Finding is the bedrock for US climate protections. First issued in 2009, it’s the scientific and legal determination that greenhouse gases endanger public health and welfare the basis for EPA’s responsibility to act on climate. Without it, the EPA loses its authority to regulate climate pollution. That's why we need to stop them from gutting the endangerment finding. Join us for a visual projection at 8PM @ the EPA.
