For 40 years — 1970 to 2010 — #climatechance proceeded at steady rate. As humans continued to pump massive amounts of #greenhousegas into atmosphere, world warmed about 0.19C/decade, or around 0.34F.
Then, that rate began to shift. Warming rate ticked up a notch. Temperatures over the past decade have increased by close to 0.27C/decade — 42% increase.

Say all you want about #BlackRock but I love their website and ETF data, especially the "business involvement" and carbon intensity metrics (usually much harder to find elsewhere). When the manager of your investment fund straight up admits it contributes to 7 different well-known ways of destroying humanity, you can't say you weren't warned.

Carbon intensity data needs to be handled with care (big tech and real estate almost carbon neutral? come on!).

@strangeseawolf I have to say, in the wake of #ClimateChance, I try to go everywhere by train where possible, but if I will go back to Alaska once, I want THIS to be my in-flight entertainment 😍
