Deep cut, but:
I have a sneaking suspicion that when Prince had Clare Fischer do the strings for Crystal Ball, he said: "You know what you did for Rufus and Chaka Khan's "Egyptian Song"? Do that, but a bit more sinister."

Clare Declares is an album by keyboardist/composer-arranger Clare Fischer, released in 1977 on the MPS label. It features unaccompanied performances on an Austrian-made Rieger pipe organ, with liner notes provided by jazz critic and lyricist Gene Lees - Wikipedia
I first heard of this LP aged 14 in The Joachim Berendt Jazz Book which a friend's dad bought me as a present. It was cited as an example, possibly the only one, of a pipe organ swinging. Only taken me 43 years to get around to hearing it!

Lovely versions of Summertime and Mood Indigo, two of my favourite tunes, on this LP.
