The Swarm (but not the COVID kind) has befallen a husky-voiced Steven this week and yet in spite of that (or because of it?) he made an appearance on Edmonton radio, one 880 CHED, and explained to local norms both the exciting world of Doctor Who and the mysterious practice of Radio Free Skaro-ing, which you can listen to on this very episode! Plus we have even more Gallifrey One news, an interesting and free TARDIS diary for UK folk, and Episode Two of our exciting and very focused Classic Series Commentary on “The Moonbase”!

Very sorry to hear that Christopher Benjamin has passed away. Some of you will know him best as Henry Gordon Jago from that classic Doctor Who adventure, The Talons of Weng-Chiang, but if you are around about the age that I am, then Mr Benjamin will be a familiar face from many a film and television series. He was in three (count 'em, THREE!) episodes of The Prisoner.

Not just a very fine actor but a splendid gentleman too.

Richard Carpenter was also behind the 70s #DickTurpin series where I got my first contact with #DavidDaker & his Captain Spiker.

I didn't realize the brilliance of #ChristopherBenjamin's comedic skills until I saw it again in my adult years but Sir John Glutton is 1 of the highlights when seen altogether now.

Also forever facepalming at not connecting his being at a con re: Dr Who to his having been Glutton as well until after meeting him, or I'd have gushed at him.
