@fantasai @SaraSoueidan should be nothing inherently slow about this, however I don't think it does what you want.

There is one `:target-current` link within a scroll-target-group, so in your TOC you won't have a :target-current link if one of your links from one section's contents to another is currently active, e.g.

#chapter1

First chapter contents defines #term.

#chapter2

See a#term from...
```

Qui font apparaître le premier paragraphe le chaque page chapter 1 et chapter 2

Et chaque <a href="#chapterXYZ">Chapter XYZ</a> redirige vers une page <site_adresse>/chapterxyz.html

Dans mon souvenir, le template de læ créateurice avait ensuite été réutilisé pour publier un recueil de textes politiques / poésies historiques

Donc un truc qui ressemble de loin à un CMS mais en html only
