Drove by our local tribal casino today and was appalled to see this. They're hosting a local "fair" and rodeo. The fair consists of no rides, a few oversized bouncy castles, and a dozen or so booths and food trucks. But this stomach churning travesty dominates it.
I can't imagine the tribe would endorse this monument to the admin that would happily take their tribal rights, steal back the reservations, and deport them all.

It sound like serious thunder out there occasionally, but I'm pretty sure it's just big waves hitting the beach just down the hill from out house.

This is Mamma Kitty. Well over 20 years ago she arrived as a feral, parking lot stray at the #InnAtSpanishHead on the #OregonCoast. She was caught, fixed, and released in the lot to discourage rodents. Over time she tamed herself and lives mostly inside or just outside the front door. Despite her age, she can still jump up onto the front desk to her favorite spot, on top of the credit card machine.
