È stato diffuso il video dell’aggressione a una suora francese di 48 anni, ricercatrice alla Scuola biblica e archeologica francese di Gerusalemme (EBAF), avvenuta lo scorso martedì sul monte Sion, non lontano dal Cenacolo.
La donna di 48anni ha subìto un agguato da parte di un uomo, un israeliano di 36anni, che l’ha prima buttata a terra con forza e poi presa a calci. A fermare la brutale aggressione è stato un turista intervenuto dopo pochi attimi.
La religiosa è stata ferita al volto e ricoverata in ospedale: l’aggressore è stato arrestato mercoledì, come fatto sapere anche dal ministro degli Esteri israeliano che ha parlato di atto “vergognoso.

The video of the assault on a 48-year-old French nun, a researcher at the École Biblique et Archéologique Française de Jérusalem (EBAF), which occurred last Tuesday on Mount Zion, near the Cenacle, has been released.
The 48-year-old woman was attacked by a 36-year-old Israeli man who first threw her to the ground with force and then kicked her. A tourist intervened after a few moments to stop the brutal attack.
The nun was injured in the face and hospitalized; the attacker was arrested on Wednesday, as also announced by the Israeli Foreign Minister, who described the act as “shameful.”
