Kinda looking for advice or maybe an unethical tip or something. [America] I
need to see a specialist, but they need me to get a referral. I have an
appointment scheduled with a primary care doc, but it’s not until fucking July.
The urgent care here has turned me away because they (and I quote) “don’t deal
with conditions that have been ongoing for more than a week or two.” I don’t
know if I can get a referral from an ER, but I really would rather not go that
route and waste their time and mine. So… What would you do? What should I do?
Anyone willing to give me a referral? I guess for a little more info, I am
positive I need to see this specialist. I’ve had this disease for almost ten
years and I’m currently being seen by the most unavailable and uncaring VA guy
there is. VA won’t give me a referral to an outside specialist because it costs
money and they think they have it covered. But that doc isn’t listening to me
and the last few months have been absolute hell trying to deal with some issues
this has created.

Btw idk why I have anxiety the entire time… (no, not anxiety about the plot…
like just random anxiety) but besides that… Great experience (ish… I rather own
a movie theater and have it all by myself so I don’t have so much anxiety) BIG
SCREEN My favorite sequence was when: ::: spoiler SPOILERS Rocky risks his life
to save Grace I like the sequence of like the darkness and then a flash of light
to show whats going on… that was so cool I love the moments of silence… So much
different from just watching it on a 15.6 inch screen + headphones at home… (and
also I’d have to wait for home release…) ::: (Put any spoilers in tags pls)

Literally I just have this realization while watching a TV show… like… HOWWW.
She literally just starts talking to neighbors… random strangers… like just out
of no where… Wtf… Was she always like this? Did her having children changed and
just made her not fear that anymore? Like does survival triumph everything else
and so just have to be fearless to pave the way for us Oh why the hell is my dad
kinda just… idk I see a part of him in me… He’s been in the US for 15 years and
barely any English… I mean like the quietness part… cuz my mom managed… which
I’m attibuting the English ability to the confidence thing vs my dad’s quietness
and I just feel like he’s unassertive… Like my mom practically runs the
household lmfao… Looking at it this way… it no wonder why my mom would be so
disappointed in my depressed-ass I mean if I were in my mom’s position… I’d hate
me too… I’m such a disappointment…

I plan on moving from Germany to Australia in September. So far I’ve been doing
ok with the planning but I was wondering if there were any specific groups or
forums for people like me/expats in Australia with tips and connections that
could be useful to me. I already looked at a bunch of forums and it seems that
at least the German language ones are largely inactive.

It seems like having a website open and available on the internet is getting
practically impossible to manage, with bots accounting for more and more
traffic. AI has gotten to a point where it can circumvent just about any form of
captcha, sooooo, what? Does "the internet just get abandoned in favor of some
other, better technology that we hope crops up? Does it fade away? Do the real
nerds start their own separate internet, and not let companies in? I donno, food
for thought I guess.

So they got their passports and the visas thing… Unfortunately dad and grandma
are still at home… so it’s not a true “home alone” thing… But like I feel like
this is a once-in-a-life time thing… the last time my mom left for an extended
period of time was back in 2017 when my maternal grandpa died and they did a
attend a funeral type of thing… Any ideas? Ooh also I’m so curious to how my
brother is gonna deal with the firewall thing. I was like: “So what VPN are you
gonna use? Lol” like I’m honestly curious And he refused to answer… Okay I guess

nostalgia purposes… hopefully I get some… my mom is so tech-illiterate idk if
