@AninditaGuha that is rather unfair to say. Prof. Dilip Mandal and BhimArmy had given a different call for action against TwitterIndia for separate set of impunities that has been happening against DBA accounts. It is individual movement's choice to do this. Only Sanjay Hegde's case has been getting more coverage so far.
I am on Mastodon because TwitterIndia is a breeding ground for casteist, homophobic, transphobic and misogynistic saffron stooges. TwitterIndia adminstration is biased against Dalit-Bahujan-Adivasi accounts both in censoring and verifying.
I join the 24 hour Twitter boycott in solidarity with all the DBA accounts who have been unfairly banned/censored and not verified by Twitter. We'll continue the conversation on @goofysufi
@Saikatd @dushyant I am personally not very fond of Mr. Hegde. especially after his views on allegations against CJI and other issues. I am here to protest #CasteistTwitter bias against DBA accounts, right from verifying to censor. Cheers!
