Her cruelty, as seen in #Razor and her driving her subordinates to disregard any morality, like what she did to #KendraShaw, is appalling. She lacks empathy and any morality. Fighting against a #genocidal species of #robots, can do that

Music of Battlestar Galactica (2004) and Caprica

Two decades later and I am still listening to these soundtracks by Bear McCreary on a regular basis. A few of my favorites from Battlestar Galactica are Something Dark is Coming from season 2, Kara's Coordinates from season 4, and the Roslin and Adama theme throughout the whole series. From Caprica, Daniel Captures the Code and Waltz for Zoe. But honestly, I recommend the whole collection.

And these were at the start of his composer career. He has composed a ton of other great scores, but his work for BSG and Caprica will always be my favorite.

The final montage is so wonderful - what a way to end a cancelled series
(and indeed the final episode is itself a masterpiece). Shame the pacing was so off early on, although it was always a left field combo of genres (as was BSG but that got away with it because of the core military score-fi concept). Religious extremism, corporate drama, hard science-fiction and organised crime were strange bedfellows indeed…

Jetzt endlich mit #Caprica angefangen. Gibt's ja gerade bei WoW (ich hatte berichtet). Die ersten anderthalb Folgen sind gar nicht mal so schlecht.

Ich hoffe, es gefällt mir nachher nicht zu gut. Schließlich geht's nach Staffel eins definitiv nicht weiter.

@menneisyytesi (Uudesta) #Galactica'sta tehdyllä #etkosarja'lla #Caprica oli paljolti sama vika. Paukut oli käytetty ensimmäiseen sarjaan, eikä etkoa suinkaan kirjoitettu siitä vaiheesta, joka olisi sen perusteella vaikuttanut kiinnostavimmalta – Galacticassa Kobolin- ja GOT:ssa Valyrian-ajasta.
