#HappyBiirthday to one of the best doubles player the sport of tennis has ever seen, Danijel Nestorović. Better known to Canadians as Daniel Nestor, he was born in Belgrade, Serbia, and immigrated to Canada at age four. Nestor, with different partners, appeared in 100+ finals and is the only player to win all of the Grand Slam doubles titles. Throw in Gold Medal for Canada at the 2000 Olympics.

#HappyBirthday to Cynthia Maria "Cindy" Nicholas (August 20, 1957 – May 19, 2016), who was arguably Canada’s greatest marathon swimmer. She regularly smashed previous records, usually by hours, or registered firsts in long-distance swimming achievements. She crossed the English Channel 19 times (5 round trips). After her retirement from swimming, she earned her law degree and served as a politician.
