@VE7WYC

The irony is that the web being turned into a very cursed application platform (instead of basically just a wiki, which is what it was envisioned as) has helped people escape the prison of windows compatibility requirements.

P.S. Modern MediaWiki markup is way more complicated than the first version(s) of HTML.

Wiki formats were supposed to be either simple (like Markdown), or stupidly simple, like the very first wiki: https://wiki.c2.com/?FrontPage

(In essence, NO markup, #CamelCased words become links. That's basically it. XD )

#MisquoteThe1990s is such a lovely hashtag.

And it's #CamelCased!!!!! :o <3

@JeriLRyan Hashtags are very important here, moreso than in birdspace. For what this place lacks in full-text search and the algorithmic feed, it relies heavily on hashtags (ideally #CamelCased, for the benefit of screen readers) for content discovery and propagation.
@Tam5 interesting, in ve always #CamelCased my hashtags but for readability. Glad to hear they're also more accessibility friendly!
