Meyer lemons are doing great this winter. I don't get many fruits this time of year, but the citrus shines. Meyer lemons were first introduced to the United States from China in the early 20th century by Frank Meyer and are named after him. They are a cross between a regular lemon and a mandarin orange, which is why they are sweeter and will turn orange if left too long on the bush.
