#OnThisDay September 7, 2020: Audemars Piguet introduces the Code 11.59 Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Chronograph #Code1159

My Audemars Piguet Code 11:59 chronograph in white gold and ceramic has arrived. When I saw the contrast between these materials with the dark grey fumé dial I knew this was the one for me. I’m super excited to get it on the wrist and out on the beach. The flyback action and pushers feel so crisp. The domed crystal is something to see in person and photos cannot do the finish justice. Every detail on the dial is so sharp and the way the dial changes in the sun was unexpectedly stunning and something you cannot see in a showroom. Case design, ceramics, AP finishing and the new movement all add up to my first step into the world of Audemars Piguet beyond the Royal Oak. I’m excited to see what the future brings to my wrist next. Maybe the new Star Wheel…
