Il Tempo: Bullismo, Vittimberga: "Impegno civile รจ uno degli antidoti, ricostruire il Noi"
Roma, 21 mag. (Adnkronos) - "L'impegno civile รจ uno degli antidoti piรน potenti contro il bullismo, perchรฉ responsabilizza, crea empatia e trasforma l'โio' in โnoi'โ. Lo ha dichiarato il Direttore generale dell'Inps, Valeria Vittimberga, intervenendo oggi alla Maratona del bullismo a piazza Mastai, Roma. Nel suo intervento, Vittimberga ha richiamato il ruolo delle istituzioni nel creare โfiducia socialeโ, sostenendo che la lotta al bullismo non possa essere affidata soltanto a scuola e famiglie ma debba coinvolgere โistituzioni, mondo del lavoro, sport, cultura e comunicazioneโ.
Il Direttore generale dell'Inps ha inoltre rivendicato la scelta dell'Istituto di dialogare con i giovani, anche attraverso โi loro linguaggi, dai fumetti al gaming, fino allo sport e ai social. La vera lotta al bullismo โ ha concluso โ รจ costruire una societร nella quale nessuno senta il bisogno di affermarsi schiacciando qualcun altroโ.
โIl contrasto al bullismo passa anche dal recupero dei giovani che restano ai margini della societร โ. Ha continuato.โLa marginalizzazione spesso inizia molto presto: con l'abbandono scolastico, con la povertร educativa, con la solitudine digitale e con la mancanza di opportunitร โ, ha dichiarato Vittimberga, evidenziando che โun ragazzo che smette di credere nel proprio futuro รจ piรน vulnerabileโ.
Per questo, ha spiegato, โil recupero dei giovani che non studiano, non lavorano e non si formano, i cosiddetti Neet, รจ una grande questione sociale ma anche civile. Ogni giovane reinserito nel lavoro, nella formazione e nella partecipazione sociale torna a sentirsi parte di una comunitร โ.
โIl bullismo non รจ mai soltanto un gesto individuale, ma il sintomo di una frattura piรน profonda della comunitร โ. Vittimberga ha sottolineato come il fenomeno prosperi โdove si indebolisce il senso di appartenenza collettiva, dove qualcuno si sente invisibile e si rompe il legame socialeโ.
Secondo il Direttore generale dell'Inps, il welfare rappresenta โuno strumento di coesione sociale capace di impedire che le fragilitร si trasformino in esclusione permanente. L'inclusione non รจ soltanto una misura economica โ ha aggiunto โ ma una misura relazionale e democraticaโ.

Rome, May 21 (Adnkronos) - "Civic engagement is one of the most powerful antidotes against bullying, because it responsabilizes, creates empathy, and transforms โmeโ into โweโ.โ This was stated by the Director General of the INPS, Valeria Vittimberga, speaking today at the Anti-Bullying Marathon in Piazza Mastai, Rome. In her speech, Vittimberga emphasized the role of institutions in creating โsocial trust,โ arguing that the fight against bullying cannot be left solely to schools and families but must involve โinstitutions, the world of work, sport, culture, and communication.โ
The Director General of the INPS also asserted the Instituteโs choice to engage with young people, even through โtheir languages, from comics to gaming, to sport and social media.โ The real fight against bullying โ she concluded โ is to build a society in which no one feels the need to assert themselves by crushing someone else.
โThe contrast to bullying also passes through the recovery of young people who remain on the margins of society.โ She continued. โMarginalization often begins very early: with school dropout, with educational poverty, with digital loneliness, and with a lack of opportunities,โ declared Vittimberga, highlighting that โa boy who stops believing in his own future is more vulnerable.โ
For this reason, she explained, โthe recovery of young people who do not study, work, or train, the so-called Neet, is a major social as well as civic issue. Every young person re-inserted into work, training, and social participation returns to feeling part of a community.โ
โBullying is never just an individual act, but a symptom of a deeper fracture in the community.โ Vittimberga emphasized how the phenomenon thrives โwhere the sense of collective belonging weakens, where someone feels invisible, and the social bond breaks.โ
According to the Director General of the INPS, welfare represents โa tool for social cohesion capable of preventing vulnerabilities from turning into permanent exclusion. Inclusion is not just an economic measure โ she added โ but a relational and democratic measure.โ
