LMAO, went to a #WomenInTech dinner last night. We were asked to share intros and "something interesting about yourself". Somehow that turned into me not only sharing that I got my pilot certificate, but also talking about BBQ and shoes.

The woman next to me turns to me, gives me a high five, and says "I always thought #CISO were boring. This is awesome!!".

Maybe #InfoSec isn't as sexy to others as we think sometimes.

Captain’s log: today is the first of 9 days off, assuming no #CISOThings happen. I have a bunch I want to get done today, but spent too long petting the dog’s belly this morning. I am growing convinced that pets exist to regulate our productivity as a species.
