The mad thing is that this is clearly 'stupid evil'. Clearly, the target is §15, which deals in sex & age discrimination.

But because the Act was stupidly drafted to blanket abrogate § '2 and 7 to 15', when the #CCRF #NotwithstandingClause itself says 'or' & 'a provision', that makes the argument for disallowance a lot stronger.

Abrogating the right to life in a Health Act, and the right to safety in a Safety Act!

Remember:

If a legislative Act abrogates sections "2 and 7 to 15" of the Charter, it has done away with the freedoms of expression, religion, association, assembly, the press; freedoms from self-incrimination, arbitrary imprisonment, & cruel and unusual punishments; with the rights to legal counsel & speedy trial; and with the prohibitions of double jeopardy & retrospective criminality.
