The 1988 Honda CBR600F Hurricane. This was the second one of these I had bought. It was 20 years old then. Needed a fuel pump and the carbs cleaned to get it running, then I repaired and repainted all the broken plastic. It ran a lot better than the first one. A little small for me but it's not like you're riding one of these for days. Had it a year, maybe two.

The #Kawasaki #EX500 was such a great motorcycle that it remained in production for 23 model years, from 1987 to 2009 (with minor revisions from 1993), before it was finally retired.

In 1988, it had the second-shortest stopping distance from 60 mph, after the #Honda #Hurricane #CBR600F, a vastly more expensive (and capable) #motorcycle that had dual discs up front and single disc rear, compared with the EX500's single disc front and drum rear.
