rdmOver the past few nights we've been shooting #C70 aka #NGC300. This spiral #Galaxy in #Sculptor used to be classed as part of the Sculptor Group, but recent research places is much closer to us, and independent of that group.
It is a rather pretty galaxy, particularly as it is almost face-on to us, giving a lovely view of the arms.
This was shot over two nights, 6:30hrs of usable data, at gain 60, with the basic 'astro' filter, using a #Dwarf3 .
