@ASECS I just received an email that chirp.social, which hosts the ASECS (American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies) group, is shutting down. I am creating a replacement group at @[email protected] . If you follow @[email protected], it should provide the same functionality: When you tag the group, everyone in the group should see the post

Ooh, just got my copy of Teaching the Eighteenth Century Now, edited by Kate Parker and Miriam Wallace, with essays by Tiffany Potter, Ziona Kocher, Kate Parker, Teri Doerksen, Christine D. Myers, Diana Epelbaum, Matthew L. Reznicek, Travis Chi Wing Lau, Emily C. Casey, and Eugenia Zuroski. I'm not someone who gets many pedagogy books, but that lineup is full of people who have reshaped my thinking about the #EighteenthCentury #C18Studies over and over. Looks exciting!
So thrilled to see this collection on Teaching the Eighteenth Century Now out and available from Bucknell, including my chapter on #Austen and #healthcare and inequalities #c18Studies https://www.rutgersuniversitypress.org/bucknell/teaching-the-eighteenth-century-now/9781684485031

#C18Studies folks, I'm getting a 502 error trying to check my #ASECS membership, but I'm not connected to a VPN or anything. Is something going on?
