Bandcamp Friday is over. I am very happy

My haul from yesterday:
(Album - Artist)
●This city isn't big enough - Apes of the state
●Maskerade -Cardinals (pre-ordered)
●Whatever, if ever - The world is a beautiful place & I am no longer afraid to die
●Without hesitation - Good Luck
●Enjoying whats left - Camp Ghost
Plus the track
○ My Mule - Woodenbox
The Apes of the State album is currently playing through my speakers. It is raw, folk punk perfection, honest, full of emotion and relatable feelings. So glad I discovered it.
And I have a feeling, from the 5 tracks I can play from the debut album by Cardinals, that Maskerade may be my album of the year (its a big call so early in 2026 but I am already completely in love with their brand of alt/indy/post punk sound)
Go hunt out music, fall down rabbit holes, get passionate about new discoveries. There is so much to find beyond the algorythms!
