Since I got up at 6am I’ve done a load of washing, put the slow cooker on to make chicken broth/stock to go in the freezer for winter use. My kefir has been restarted & in the cupboard to ferment. I’ve dealt with my sourdough starter that had the horrid grey hooch on top from being in the fridge too long. All sorted & over the next couple of days will start being happy again. It’s been an awful summer for making my sourdough bread so I stopped. I have chopped tomatoes in the fridge that I’m going to cook up today & also freeze for later use. I have some tomatoes & fruit that I froze over summer that need to be dealt with as well. So a busy time ahead.
Then it’s outside into the garden to do some tidying, dealing with the veggie bed, the back & the side garden - I also need to mow again 😬.
I know I won’t get all of it done, but it’s my plan over the next few days & the week to deal with these things. Unfortunately my sister is back in hospital for a few days at least & I’m going to visit her today also.
